Friday, May 31: One talk for kids & One talk for adults.
Geologist Neil Phillips has been studying the geology of the Strathbogie district, and Strathbogie granite in particular, for much of his career. The work is a collaboration of his field studies and expertise with colleagues at the University of Melbourne and Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
Neil’s presentation will be based on observations and recordings taken on the plateau, especially over the past two years. Much of the work has been done on private property. His access is much appreciated.
Save the date May 31.
Neil has kindly agreed to give two talks for the Strathbogie community. One for Peranbin Primary students at 2pm in the school. Another for adults at 7pm in the Strathbogie Memorial Hall. Tea & coffee provided.
RSVP: Sean Mathews firstname.lastname@example.org or 0400 019 607
