Easter Monday 2011 – what a great day for a walk down the creek! Six kilometers and five hours of rock-hopping later; along grassy banks, down steep-sided gorges, over giant rock piles and sometimes into the creek – splash!

Note: this is a difficult walk; extreme care must be taken. There is no defined track and multiple creek crossings are required. It should not be attempted during rainy or inclement weather, or when the creek has a normal or substantial flow – rocks are slippery and flash flooding occurs without warning. Once in the gorges, there is no easy access to public roads or the outside world.

Lastly, the creek is bordered by private property that should not be entered without permission.
