The Ruffy Weekend Walkers explored “Big Hill” Nature Conversation Reserve at Longwood East .Sometimes called the ‘Wool Pack’ this is the dominant rock formation on the ridge opposite the Tubbs Homestead , access is off the Old Hume Highway.

The rock faces on Big Hill are popular with rock climbers and absailers. Barry Noye of Creightons Creek pioneered these climbs in his youth . Ray Thomas of Euroa still regularly takes groups climbing in this area.
